From 15 to 17 July, an intense field training activity took place involving the students of the new edition of the Master's Degree Course in Precision Agriculture, hosted at the BF Educational Campus.

Training is a bridge between research, innovation and concrete experimentation. During the three days, students participated in field exercises, learning techniques for the application of the most advanced technologies: drones, digital maps, yield mapping, sensors and decision support systems. Through simulations, field activities on satellite image analysis and geospatial data, the students were able to experience first-hand the evolution of precision agriculture.

Now in progress, the seventh edition of the Master in Precision Agriculture is organised by the University of Florence, in collaboration with the Universities of Teramo, Tuscia, Padua, the CNR and Crea.
Our thanks go to the lecturers and professionals who have accompanied the participants in this training experience.
